Annie Veilleux leads the Deschênes – Molson – Lesage Family Business Centre at HEC Montréal and holds an MBA from HEC Montréal. She has owned a business and held strategic positions in well-known family businesses in Quebec for fifteen years. Then, she has invested her efforts with family businesses as a strategic advisor and as the director of Lafond Gestion | Lafond Formation. During these ten years, she helped family businesses to achieve their intergenerational transition, to create governance structure, and to ensure the sustainability of their activities. She also put in place a team of advisors and experts with diverse expertise. Mrs. Veilleux sits on various boards of directors and other governance structures.
Mélissa Laflamme-Ouellet is a Project Manager for Deschênes – Molson – Lesage Family Business Centre at HEC Montréal. Ms. Laflamme-Ouellet holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Université Laval. She has over five years of experience in marketing planning and project management. Coming from a family in business, she understands the reality and context of family businesses. As project manager, she participates in the strategic planning of “Familles en affaires”, in the development of the action plan and the identification of the resulting activities, as well as their integration and the supervision of their realization.
